NOTICE TO THE MEMBERSHIP OF WSI

It is time for the 2005 WSI elections and the procedures are in place for the nomination process:

OFFICES OPEN FOR NOMINATION

PRESIDENT
MEMBER-AT-LARGE, EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
ADVISORY BOARD (5 positions)
VICE-PRESIDENT*

* Professor Kari Fasting is running for the post of President, thus it was necessary for her to vacate the Vice Presidency

Nominations for these positions are welcome. To be eligible to run for office, an individual must have paid WSI dues one or more times since 2003. An individual may be self or other-nominated. A letter or email of nomination must be sent to Dr. Carol Rodgers, Secretary-Treasurer by July 1, 2005. A one-page curriculum vitae must accompany the nomination. A nominator is responsible to verify that the nominee is willing to run for the three year term.

A ballot will be mailed to qualified members (same criteria as that for nomination) shortly after July 1.

Ballots will be due for return with a postmark date of Aug. 1, 2005.
